This is the story of a Scottish childhood in a poor industrial city. I succeeded and achieved a great deal in the banking profession. I encountered joys, disasters, and even a mystery. I lived in New Jersey, moved to Arizona, and spent five years in California. Life was never dull, good times followed hard times, but fun and tears were all a part of my life. I always enjoyed challenges and the rewards that come with perseverance and effort. There are many events in my story which I feel sure readers will find interesting, including experiences in Egypt while in the Army, and also vacations in England and Scotland during my marriage to my second wife. This is a story of hardship, love, sweat and tears. My life was turned around by my second marriage, but I retained the same mother-in-law and my children always had the same grandmother.
